Some information about the products that we make...
We make our soaps, shampoo bars and shaving bars from scratch, which means that we know what goes in them and can take on commissions to make soap for hotels, B&Bs as well as weddings or special occasions.
The traditional cold process method that we us produces natural vegetable glycerine, which, unlike melt and pour soaps (normally made with bright colours), naturally moisturises the skin.
There are no artificial fragrances, colouring or preservatives added to our soaps, which helps prevent skin irritation.
We only use high quality pure essential oils to naturally fragrance our soaps and to provide you with their special properties that give a feeling of well being, beauty or a refreshing uplift to the day.
We also use Pembrokeshire's Prince's Gate Spring water for purity, which is based very close to our workshop in Carmarthenshire, West Wales.
Our soaps are hand wrapped with muslin and raffia, with a paper label describing the benefits of the essential oils used in that particular bar, a little bit about earthpure ethics and a full list of the ingredients used, in English, as well as Latin.
Our luxury shampoo bars are a firm favourite with our customers. Once tried many people never use conventional shampoo again. They are formulated to give the benefits of natural herbal hair care. The addition of jojoba, sweet almond and castor oils condition the hair rather than strip it of its natural oils, giving the hair a shiny and healthy appearance. Often negating the use of a conditioner after washing.
This bar is packaged in an earth friendly drawstring bag, which means NO MESSY SPILAGE and PLASTIC BOTTLES which are known to contain substances that can leach into the product it contains (WEN 2003). It is also IDEAL FOR SWIMMING OR TRAVELLING as you can use this as a body bar a well as for your hair.

Packaging
Our solid shampoo bar , is packaged in a muslin drawstring bag. It gets rid of the use of plastic bottles that can leach chemicals into the product*, leak shampoo into your toilet bag, fill up landfill sites and are often bulky while travelling or swimming. You can also use our shampoo bar as a body bar which saves space and the use of a plastic soap dish! A must for the conscientious traveller.
*For this reason Greenpeace suggest that glass bottles are used instead of plastic. Through the use of a soild shampoo bar, one can also negate the use of glass and the energy it cost to produce it.
